Designed by athletes, for athletes.
My name is Kuzey Yildirim (14), from Hvalstad, Norway, competing for Bærum Skiskytterklubb (BSSK). I was drawn into the world of biathlon at age 9, and the sport has captivated me ever since.
Biathlon is likely the only sport where juniors and adults compete using the exact same equipment and shooting ranges — with no adjustments made for younger athletes. This places a real and unnecessary burden on young competitors.
That's why I founded True North Biathlon: to make biathlon more accessible and enjoyable for young athletes like me, as well as for our coaches and parents. My journey began with designing biathlon equipment better proportioned to younger athletes' bodies, and continued with the development of the ShootIn App, created to improve the shooting range experience.
My goal is simple: to make biathlon better for young athletes, their coaches, and their parents.

ShootIn App
An app to make biathlon enjoyable....
The ShootIn App is designed to make life on the shooting range better, easier, and more effective. It brings together intuitive accessibility and a smooth user experience for both zeroing sessions and competitions — benefiting athletes, coaches, and parents.
With no login and registration required and built to be used by anyone, ShootIn delivers a truly seamless experience straight out of the box. I am continuously working to improve the app and simplify its interface, so that everyone — regardless of role or experience level — can focus on what matters most to them, with full control at their fingertips.
